Statistics

The site counts visits anonymously: no cookies, nothing stored in your browser, no IP address saved. Only totals per day and hour are kept, no data that could identify you.

Registering for a program

When you register for a free program (for example Radiante) you give your name, callsign (optional) and email. They are used to send you the licence file and the download link, and to write to you about that program (updates, fixes). They are kept until you ask for them to be deleted, and are never sold or shared. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

The licence file contains your name, callsign and email, so the program can show who it is registered to. It stays on your computer.

Licence check

Radiante contacts iu1wxy.com when it starts and from time to time while it runs, to check that the licence is still valid. It sends the licence file, an anonymous code of the computer (a hash, not the hardware ID itself), the program version and the operating system name. The site keeps, per licence, the computers it was used on, the first and last check and their count.

Who else sees the data

The site and the data are hosted on servers in Italy. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers. Donations go through PayPal, under PayPal's own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to giovanni@iu1wxy.com.
